Thin Crust Gluten Free Sourdough Pizza
This recipe makes the perfect crispy sourdough pizza base, actually it makes two!
Equipment
- Baking trays
- Rolling Pin
- Mixing bowl
Ingredients
- 180 g Gluten free bread flour I like to use brown
- 1/4 tsp Yeast Optional
- 2 cups Sourdough starter
- 1 tsp Sugar I use coconut sugar
- 1 tsp Salt I use Himalayan
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients into a large bowl
- Cover and rest for 3 hours (in the fridge)
- Preheat the oven to 180'C
- Split the dough into two (either use both or freeze one for later)
- Roll out onto a lightly floured baking sheet covered in baking paper
- Spread on a tomato based pizza sauce (check out my sweet potato pizza sauce recipe, link below)
- Add your favourite toppings
- Bake for around 20 minutes until the cheese starts to bubble

Notes
If your toppings contain a lot of water such as mushrooms or tomatoes you may need to drain the liquid off half way through cooking.
